About Tara Paragi
Tara is from a small village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and droughts. She lives with her parents and one sister in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home; this makes their daily gathering of water tedious and laborious.
Tara comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Her father is an unskilled laborer. Her mother is a homemaker and Tara helps her with household chores. Tara wants to become a teacher one day and we want to help provide her with the education she will need to achieve this goal! Tara enjoys dancing and playing Sitoliya, a traditional Indian game that involves knocking over an opposing team's tower of stones with a ball and tagging them out as they try to reassemble the rocks. Her favorite foods are rice, chicken, and chapatti. Tara needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Tara!
