About Tanisha Kaur
Tanisha Kaur is part of a large family. She lives with her parents, grandmother, one brother, and four sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village located in the plains of in North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals.
Tanisha helps her parents with fetching water from the well, cooking meals, doing household chores, and babysitting her siblings. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Tanisha loves to read and wants to become a teacher one day. She also enjoys dancing, singing along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti.
Please pray for Tanisha as she comes from a Sikh family with no believers. Tanisha needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
