About Synthia Martin
Synthia Martin lives with her parents and four sisters in a brick and mud house in a town in Central India. The climate in this town is hot, dry and humid. This area also experiences drought seasons. The town is located near a river, in a mountainous area in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 400 meters from their home.
Synthia helps with fetching water, cooking meals, household chores and babysitting siblings. Her father is a preacher while her mother is a homemaker. Synthia wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing, singing and reading along with playing soccer. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken and mutton.
Synthia comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible and pray together daily. Synthia needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
