About Suraj Aharwal
NOTE: Suraj Aharwal has failed the 10th grade twice and has decided to quit school and get a job instead.
Suraj lives in a mud hut with his parents and brother in the town of Damoh in Central India. Suraj's father is a laborer and his mother works at the eye hospital and Oasis of Love School.
Suraj is happy to be a part of the Asha program. Here he is excited to receive his education, school uniform, books, and school bag. When he grows up he wants to become a policeman.
Suraj likes to paint, draw, and play cricket and football with his friends. His favorite food is mutton and chicken. He is very good at his studies. Suraj is not close with his father, but is very attached to his mother and helps her by caring for his little brother.
