About Sunita Ahirwar
Sunita has graduated from High School and the Mercy Home program in 2021. She is extremely grateful to her sponsors for supporting her through her years in the Mercy Home which has been a safe haven for her! Sunita is so excited that she has been accepted into College for the three-year Nursing program. She would be the very first one in her family to attend college!
Sunita's family lives in a remote village in Central India. Her father works as labor in building houses but his health is not good, so he is not able to work much. Her mother is a housewife, she also works as a laborer when possible. The family income is very small and they barely have enough to survive. Sunita has a younger brother.
Sunita says, "Thank you so much for supporting me this far!! I could not get the high school education without your sponsorship and the Mercy Home, it is more like a home to me than my own home. My wish is to go to college so that I can work and help my family. I will do my studies honestly and will bring good results. My humble request is that you may consider continuing your sponsorship so that I have this opportunity. God bless your family!"
