About Sumitra Khairwar
Sumitra Khairwar lives with her parents, grandfather, two brothers, and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Sumitra helps with fetching water and household chores. Her father is a driver and her mother is a laborer. Sumitra wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys reading and playing Kabaddi. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Sumitra; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Sumitra needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
