About Sukhdeep Kaur
Sukhdeep Kaur lives with her parents, two brothers, and one sister in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village located on the plains of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well close to their house so they do not have to carry their water too far.
Sukhdeep helps her mother with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Sukhdeep loves to read. She aspires to become a doctor one day. Sukhdeep enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game) with her siblings and friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetarian, and chapatti. Please pray for Sukhdeep; she comes from a Sikh family with no believers. Sukhdeep needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
