About Sonika Bhagora
Sonika lives with her parents and one brother in a small mud house in a remote village in West India. The climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. Sonika's family relies on wood as their primary source of fuel to cook their meals on. They do not have electricity. While the water well is not too far from their house, gathering water for all their daily needs is tedious and laborious.
Sonika's father is a low-wage laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Sonika is in Preschool now. She loves her teacher and dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. She enjoys playing outside with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Sonika; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. She needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
