About Sohail Ahirwal
Sohail Ahirwal lives with his parents, grandparents, and his brother Shorya in a tiny brick and concrete house in a rural village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and humid with heavy monsoons in the summer time. The village is located near a river. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 100 meters from their home.
Sohail helps with gardening, tending livestock, cooking meals, and carrying water from the well to his home in buckets, both morning and evening. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Sohail wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys dancing, singing, and reading. He also enjoys playing soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chicken.
Sohail comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday, read the Bible, and pray together daily. Sohail needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sohail!
