About Shristi Lodhi
Shristi comes from a very small, poor village in India. Her parents are first-generation Christians and because of persecution against Christians in India, her father has a very difficult time finding work. He gets odd jobs working as a handyman when he can. Shristi’s mother is not formally educated and takes care of the household. About 7 years ago, due to increasing persecution, Shristi’s parents thought it best if she lived full-time at the Mercy Home. As difficult as this decision was, they knew it was best for Shristi. So, at the age of 13, Shristi arrived at the safety of the Mercy Home to live full-time.
Shristi has worked extremely hard while at Mercy Home. She loves the daily routine, but especially the devotion, prayer, and praise time that all the girls share. Because of her hard work, and with the generous support of her sponsors, she was able to graduate from high school in June 2020, the first in her family!
Thank you for helping Shristi with her dream of becoming a nurse by sponsoring her through college! For $200 a month, you will provide her with all tuition, room, board, uniforms, books, meals, and personal care items.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Shristi!
