About Shorya Raj

Shorya Raj lives with his parents and one brother in a small village in Central India. The village is located near a river where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. They live in a small mud hut with no electricity. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 200 meters from their home.

Shorya loves to help his parents with gardening. His father is a laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Shorya wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys reading and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.

Shorya comes from a God-fearing Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. His mother takes special time to teach Bible lessons to her children. Shorya needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Shorya!
