About Shivani Jatav
NOTE: Shivani Jatav is Graduating from High School and the Mercy Home in May of 2022! She is going to Nursing College! (College ID # CL0055-DM)

Shivani's parents are field laborers. Their extended family lives in a town about four hours away from Mercy Home. Her parents go to different places in search of jobs, but don't get proper work for the whole month. They have three daughters that traveled with them when they were young. While roaming in this way they came to know Jesus and our mission and Mercy Home. They thought it was God's leading to show them a better way for their daughters so they brought the eldest one, Shivani, to Mercy Home. Here she is growing in all fields.
Shivani is a diligent student and feels blessed for the opportunity to be able to go to school. Shivani has unique qualities. She gives very good speeches for her age and won a competition at the elementary school level. She plays the game of 'Loodo' (a board game like chess), likes guinea pigs, white pigeons, lotus flowers, custard, and chicken curry. She wants to be a doctor or a lawyer.
