About Shivani Bablu Ahirwal

Shivani lives with her parents, one brother, and two sisters in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and humid and they experience monsoons during the summer months. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood and cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 100 meters from their home.

Shivani helps with gardening, cooking meals, babysitting siblings, and other chores such as collecting firewood, making and drying cow pies, and fetching water from the well in buckets both morning and evening for her mom to use for cleaning and cooking. Her father is a farmer while her mother is a homemaker. Shivani wants to become a police officer one day. She enjoys dancing and reading and playing kho-kho and soccer. Her favorite foods are dal, rice, vegetables, and chicken.

Please pray for Shivani as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Shivani needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Shivani!
