About Shiva Harijan
Shiva lives with his parents and three sisters in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Shiva helps with gardening and household chores. His father is a government officer while his mother is a homemaker. Shiva wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer, cricket and badminton. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken and chapatti.
Shiva comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Shiva needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
