About Seema Kharadi

Seema lives with her mother, her brother Vikram, and two sisters, Parvati and Soniya, in a small mud hut in a remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meal. The water well the family uses is about 500 meters from their home, which makes gathering water laborious and time-consuming.

Seema's father has abandoned the family leaving her mother to raise and take care of their four children by herself. Even though Seema is young, she enjoys helping her momma with fetching water and tending livestock. Seema wants to become a nurse when she grows up. She loves when her mom reads to her and looks forward to learning how to read in school. She enjoys playing kho-kho with her siblings and friends. Her favorite foods are rice and chicken.

Seema comes from a Christian family; they pray together daily. Seema needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Seema!
