About Sarita Dhurve
Sarita has a brother and sister who are younger than her. Her mother is a house wife and her father is a laborer. They are very poor. Her parents are first generation Christians. Her family also faces occasional persecution from the Hindu extremists in their village.
Sarita likes playing soccer. Her favorite color is red and her favorite foods are rice, dal (split pea soup), chick curry, and roti (Indian bread).
Sarita is very excited to be admitted to the Mercy Home! Here she can safely worship the Lord and grow in Him and receive a good education. Sarita enjoys studying and wants to be a teacher in a village one day to teach small children.
