In their small mud hut, Sanya’s parents, her brother, and her grandparents struggle to make a living to provide for the family. Her parents heard of the Mercy Home from a visiting pastor and thought it would be best for Sanya to live at the Mercy Home as they are extremely poor and could not provide an education for her. So, they brought her there when she was just 14 years old. She worked very hard on her studies all through high school and was able to graduate in 2020!
Sanya's father works as a laborer when he can as he is ill and her mother works at an orphanage, neither parents are educated, so they struggle to make a living for their precious family. Sanya loves to read and study, and her prayer is to be the first in her family to attend college. Sanya dreams of being a nurse one day. She worked hard to pass her exams and be accepted into Nursing College!
