About Sandhya Singh
Sandhya Singh lives with her parents and two brothers in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle and in a mountainous area where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Sandhya helps with fetching water, doing household chores and tending livestock. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a homemaker. Sandhya wants to become an engineer one day. She enjoys singing, painting and drawing, along with playing cricket. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti.
Please pray for Sandhya; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Sandhya needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
