About Samuel Sailo
Samuel comes from a remote village located in the hills of Northern India. His father is a village pastor, and his mother leads women's Bible studies in the church. They live in a small rented house. They don’t earn enough to provide a good education for their two children. The nearest school is located a long walk over steep terrains far away from their remote village and it is quite expensive for these simple people. As Christians, Samuel's parents have prayed that God would provide the opportunity for their children to receive a quality, Christ-centered education.
The answer to their prayer came through the Mercy Home. Now living at the Mercy Home, Samuel and his younger brother Abraham have access to quality academic and spiritual education. Samuel enjoys school and wants to become an engineer in the future. He attends church weekly and participates in daily Bible studies led by caring, mature Christian leaders at the Mercy Home. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, cricket, and badminton with his new friends. He also likes to take care of flowers and other plants as he did in his home village.
