About Sameer Vanshkar
Sameer lives with his parents, three brothers and one sister in a brick and mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals.
Sameer helps with doing household chores. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Sameer wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), vegetables and chicken.
Sameer comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Sameer needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
