About Sameer Bheel
Sameer is from a very poor family who lives in a remote jungle village. Sameer has one brother and two sisters. The village they live in has no roads, electricity, or running water and is completely cut off from civilization. They are gathering produce from the jungle and growing some food on a small patch of land by their mud-hut. They must walk miles each day to the closest well and carry water for their daily needs.
Sameer's parents are simple first-generation Christians. And because of their faith in Jesus, they often face persecution and ostracism from their community. They want a better future for their children but have no means for it. They want Sameer to live in a safe place to obtain a good education and grow spiritually. And the Mercy Home became an answer to their prayers and his parents are so grateful to God for it!
Sameer is so excited to start school now and is eager to learn how to read. His dream is to become a teacher someday. His favorite food is fried Indian bread called poori and chicken curry. He loves to play soccer and tribal games with his friends.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sameer!
