About Sam Paul

Sam Paul lives with his parents and one brother in a small brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located near a river where the climate is dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Sam helps with household chores. His father is a preacher and his mother is a homemaker. Sam wants to become a preacher one day. He enjoys dancing and singing. He also enjoys playing soccer and badminton. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chicken, chapatti, and poha.
Sam comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, read the Bible daily, and pray together daily. Sam needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
