About Sakina Relat
Sakina lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley, where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They do not have electricity. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
Her father is an unskilled low-wage laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Sakina helps her parents with household chores. Sakina wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys playing carom with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Sakina; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Sakina needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sakina!
