About Roshniben Gundiya
Roshniben came to Mercy Home from a very remote village where she lived with her parents and two brothers Saul and Paul Kalsingh. This area is deep in the jungle and has no roads, electricity, or running water. The closest school is several miles away; it is very difficult and not safe for children to walk to school every day because of the distance, especially during monsoon seasons or on very hot days. Roshniben's father is a tribal Pastor; his devotion to God’s work puts his family and children at risk for persecution from unbelievers. The parents want their children to be safe, to be educated, and have a deeper relationship with Christ!
Roshniben and her siblings were so happy to join the Mercy Home family! Roshniben wants to become a nurse, and we want to help her get the education she will need to achieve that goal! She loves to read and sing and enjoys playing kho-kho with her new friends. Her favorite foods are chicken and mutton.
