About Roshi Khokariya
Roshi lives with her parents, one brother, and four sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley, where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. Unlike many other residents of this village, they are blessed to have electricity in their hut. The water well the family uses is about 500 meters from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
Her father is a driver. Her mother is a homemaker and Roshi helps her mom with cooking meals and household chores. Roshi wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing along with playing carom, (an Indian board game). She likes simple vegetarian meals and her favorite food is rice.
Roshi comes from a Christian family; they enjoy going to church each Sunday. Roshi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs. Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Roshi!
