About Rohit Singh
Rohit Singh lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a small brick and mud house in a remote village in Central India. The village is located in mountainous jungles near a river. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 300 feet from their home.
Rohit helps his parents with gardening, fetching water, and household chores. Both of his parents are unskilled laborers. Understanding the value of education, Rohit wants to become a teacher one day. He loves to read and enjoys singing and dancing along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chapatti, and fish.
Please pray for Rohit; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Rohit needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
