About Ritika Patel
Ritika lives with her parents, grandmother, and one brother in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. They also experience heavy monsoons in the summer months. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home.
Ritika helps with gardening, cooking meals, and other chores such as gathering firewood and fetching water in buckets for her mom to use for cooking and cleaning. Her father is a farmer while her mother is a homemaker. Ritika wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing, singing, and reading. She also enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and soccer. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti (an Indian flatbread).
Please pray for Ritika as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Ritika needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
