About Reena Bai Yadav
Reena lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Reena helps her parents with carrying water from the well and doing other household chores. Her father is a low-wage laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Reena wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Reena and her family. Reena needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
