About Ravina Kumar Khokariya
Ravina lives with her parents, older brother Pushkar and younger sister Manisha. They live in a small mud-hut in a remote village located in a valley in West India. The climate here is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. Ravina's family relies on wood to cook all of their meals on as they cannot afford propane and do not have electricity. They have to make a 3-mile trek round trip to the closest water well to get water for all their needs.
Ravina's father works as a low-wage laborer while her mother cares for the home. Ravina helps her mom with household chores and fetching water from the well. Ravina enjoys drawing and playing carom. Her favorite foods are vegetables and chapatti. Ravina wants to become a teacher.
Ravina comes from a devoted Christian family. Risking the persecution from the radical Hindus, they have opened their humble home for the church services each Sunday and during the week also. Please pray for their safety and for the entire village to come to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus! Ravina needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school supplies, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Ravina!
