About Ranu Khairwar
Ranu comes from a very remote village. She has one brother and two sisters. Her parents are followers of Christ, but have not yet been baptized. They regularly attend our Christian Satsang (fellowship and worship meetings). The family lives very poorly in a mud hut in a village near the jungle. Ranu's favorite sport is cricket. She loves to color and draw. She loves the simple meal of rice, dal (split pea soup), vegetables, and chapatti (Indian bread).
Ranu wants to become a doctor one day. Without Mercy Home she will not have a chance to further her education as she will soon be married off; as is the custom in their village. Ranu wants to continue her studies for her self-dignity and so that she can have a bright, happy future. We hope that at Mercy Home she will also get to know her Heavenly Father, the one and only Savior.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Ranu!
