About Rajdeep Kaur
Rajdeep Kaur lives with her parents and her sisters Rabiya and Mehekdeep in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village in Northern India. The village is located on a plain. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Rajdeep comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Her father is an unskilled laborer, while her mother is a homemaker. Rajdeep helps with household chores. Rajdeep wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti. Rajdeep needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
