About Raj Singh Gound
Raj lives with his parents, one brother, and sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains and experiences intense heat as well as alternating monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. While the water well is not too far from their house, gathering water for all their daily needs is tedious and laborious.
His father is a farmer. His mother is a homemaker and Raj helps with the gardening and tending the livestock. Raj wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys singing along with playing volleyball and kho-kho, an Indian sport that is a bit like a team-based tag. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti. Please pray for Raj; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Raj needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
