About Rachit Saket
Rachit Saket lives with his parents and four brothers in a brick and mud house in a town in Central India. The climate in this town is hot, dry and humid. This area also experiences drought seasons. The town is located near a river, in the jungle and in a mountainous area. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 400 meters from their home.
Rachit helps with fetching water. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Rachit wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken and mutton.
Rachit comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible and pray together daily. Rachit needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
