About Priya Pradhan
Priya Pradhan lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses cow pies and wood as fuel to cook their meals as they have intermittent electricity. The water well the family uses is 500 meters from their home.
Priya helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Priya wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing and singing along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Priya comes from a Seeker family that is attending Church and involved in Bible Exploratory Studies. They attend church each Sunday and read the Bible daily. Priya needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
