About Pravin Kumar Dhurvay
Pravin lives in a small mud hut with his parents, his brother Himanshu, and sister Amrita. This area is in a jungle in the mountains and experiences intense heat as well as alternating monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
His father is a low wage laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Pravin helps his family with household chores, fetching water from the well, gardening, and tending livestock. Pravin loves to read, play soccer and dance. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and fish. He wants to become a teacher someday!
