About Pintu Makhodiya
Pintu came to Mercy Home from a remote village, where he lived with his parents and five sisters. His father is a farmer and his mother is a maid, but they are very poor and cannot support the large family of eight. The closest school is several miles away from their home; it was very difficult and not safe for Pintu to walk to school every day because of the distance, especially during monsoon seasons or on very hot days. His parents want him to have a safe place where he can grow spiritually and academically.
Pintu was so happy to join the Mercy Home family! He loves to study and wants to become a teacher when he grows up. Pintu likes to sing enjoys the worship time at the Mercy Home. In his free time, Pintu likes to play cricket and kho-kho with his new friends. His favorite foods are rice, lentils, chicken, and Indian bread.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Pintu!
