About Palak Gawai
Palak lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a town located in Central India by the lake and surrounded by jungles and mountains. The climate in this area is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have the water well not too far from their house.
Her father is an unskilled low-paid laborer. Her mother is a homemaker and Palak helps her with household chores, fetching water, tending livestock, and cooking meals. Palak wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read and sing and enjoys playing soccer and board games. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, chapatti, and mutton.
Please pray for Palak; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Palak needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
