About Nisshiben Meda
Nisshiben came to Mercy Home from a very remote jungle village, where she lived with her parents and two brothers, Paul and Bleshan Ramesh. The closest school is many miles away from their home which makes their walk to school difficult and dangerous. They are a simple Christian family. Nisshiben’s father is a tribal pastor. His devotion to God’s work puts his family and children at risk for persecution from unbelievers. The parents want their children to have a safe place to get a good education and grow spiritually so that they may have a better future, but they have means to do so. But the Mercy Home became an answer to their prayers!
Nisshiben and her siblings were so happy to join the Mercy Home family! Nisshiben aspires to become a nurse one day and we want to help give her the education she will need to achieve this goal! She loves to read, draw and sing. Her favorite sport is soccer. Her favorite foods are rice, dal, vegetables, and chapatti. Please pray for Nisshiben and her siblings as they are trying to get used to the new life in the city away from their parents.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Nisshiben!
