About Neha Thakur
Neha Thakur lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about 500 meters from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Neha helps her parents with fetching water and doing other household chores. Her father is an unskilled low-wage laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Neha wants to become a teacher one day. She loves to read and enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Neha and her family; although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Neha needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Neha!
