About Mansi Rajak

Mansi Rajak lives with her parents and her sister in a simple brick and mud house in a town located on the plains of Central India. The climate in this town is hot and experiences both monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook all their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house. Each day they carry large jugs of water back to the house, usually on their head, to use for all of their cooking, cleaning, and bathing.

Mansi helps her mom with household chores. Her father is a washerman (washes clothes for people and hangs them to dry) while her mother is a homemaker. Mansi loves to read and wants to become a teacher one day. She also enjoys singing and playing outdoors with other kids. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti (an Indian bread).

Mansi comes from a Christian family and they attend church when they can. They read the Bible and pray together daily. Mansi needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as shoes and school lunches.

Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Mansi!
