About Manisha Ahari
Manisha is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. She lives with her parents, three brothers, and one sister in a small mud-hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, they don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home.
Her parents have a little farm on the small field by their hut. Manisha helps with gardening, fetching water, cooking meals, doing household chores, tending livestock, and babysitting siblings. Manisha wants to become a teacher one day, and we want to help her get the education she will need to be able to achieve that goal! She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho. Her favorite foods are chicken and mutton. Manisha comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, read the Bible, and pray together daily. Manisha needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Manisha!
