About Manish Thakur
Manish Thakur lives with his parents, grandparents, and two sisters in a small mud-hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
His father is an unskilled low-wage laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Manish wants to become a teacher one day. Manish helps his mom with fetching water and doing other household chores. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket. He likes simple vegetarian meals.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Manish and his family. Manish needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Manish!
