About Mamta Barman

Mamta Barman lives with her parents, one brother, and two sisters in a brick and mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river. Because they experience intermittent electricity, the family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home.
Mamta helps with cooking meals for the family. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Mamta wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing field hockey. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Mamta as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Mamta needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
