About Mahima Raj

Mahima Raj lives with her parents and two sisters in a brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located in a plains where the climate is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Mahima helps her parents with gardening, cooking meals, and household chores. Her father is a laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Mahima wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing and reading. She also enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game), carom, and badminton. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chicken, and chapatti.
Mahima comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and attend a Bible study. Mahima needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
