Mahima joined Mercy Home in the summer of 2015. She came from a small village in Central India. This village has a stronghold of the caste system. Mahima's parents are poor laborers from a low caste. They are first-generation believers and are on fire for the Lord. They want to follow Christ wholeheartedly. Because of their faith in Christ and their low cast position, they face many problems every day and life is very difficult for them.
Mahima's parents want their daughter to grow up learning about Christ and His teachings in a safe environment. They want her to have a dignified independent future. They believe Mercy Home is the place for her.
Mahima is so glad to be a part of the Mercy Home family! She is in the seventh grade now. Her favorite color is purple and she likes simple Indian food. She enjoys eating green mangoes with salt. Her favorite sport is Kho-Kho. When she grows up, she wants to become a doctor.
Thank you for helping to provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Mahima!
