About Komal Jhingre

Komal Jhingre lives with her parents and one brother in a brick and mud house in a small village in Central India. The village is located in a plain where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Komal helps with cooking meals and household chores. Her father is a construction worker and her mother is a laborer. Komal's brother is often sick so she wants to become a doctor one day to help people like him. She enjoys dancing, reading, and running. She has a pet dog named Sheru. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Komal; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Komal needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
