About Kiran Prajapati
Kiran lives with her parents, two brothers and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 500 meters from their home.
Kiran helps with cooking meals for the family. Her father is a construction worker while her mother is a homemaker. Kiran wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and badminton. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and chicken.
Kiran comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Kiran needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
