About Kavya Jadon
Kavya lives with her mother and father in a small mud hut. They live in a remote, poor village in the jungles of Northern India. Her mother is a teacher and her father is a low-wage laborer. Kavya likes to help her momma with household chores such as gathering firewood that her mom uses to cook on. She helps with handwashing the dishes and hanging the freshly hand-washed clothes on bushes to dry. She enjoys walking to the village well where her mom fills jugs with water for their daily cooking and cleaning.
Kavya dreams of being a nurse one day and helping the people of her very poor village. Kavya likes to play with her village friends and loves when her mom reads to her. The family's diet is very modest and consists mainly of dal (lentils) and white rice, some vegetables, and Indian flatbread.
Please pray for Kavya, her family, and her village; they are generations-old Hindus and we pray that the entire village will come to know the Lord. Your sponsorship provides education for Kavya, school supplies, a nutritious lunch, uniform and shoes, and other basic needs.
