About Kaudi Kumari Ahari

Kaudi is from a remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. She lives with her parents, one brother, and three sisters in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, and they don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is over one kilometer from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.

Her father is an unskilled laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. Her mother is a homemaker and Kaudi helps her with gardening, cooking meals, household chores, and babysitting siblings. Kaudi wants to become a teacher one day. She loves to read and enjoys singing and dancing along with playing kho-kho. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chicken. Please pray for Kaudi; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Kaudi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Kaudi!
