About Kanchan Rameshwar
Kanchan lives with her parents in a mud house in a city in Central India. Her father works in construction as a laborer and her mother is a housewife. One of Kanchan's chores is helping her mother cook for the family.
Kanchan is happy to be a part of the Asha Project where she has received a school uniform, books, and a school bag. She is in elementary school and enjoys her schoolwork. She is interested in stitching and embroidery and enjoys playing badminton with her friends. Her favorite food is rice, dal (split pea soup), and chapatti (flatbread). Kanchan wants to become a teacher when she grows up.
Kanchan and her family attend church and Sunday School every weekend. Kanchan likes to learn new Bible songs and prays every day.
